PHYSICAL THERAPY

The Physical Therapy program improves the quality of life by promoting resident independence. Each therapy program is customized according to the resident’s unique needs to regain balance, good body mechanics, strength, and mobility. Physical therapy treatment plans include:

  • Joint protection
  • Myofascial Release
  • Core strengthening
  • Therapeutic exercises
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Micro Point Stimulation

SPEECH THERAPY

Speech Therapy patients are evaluated and treated for hearing, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. The focus is on improving speech-language expression, comprehension, oral motor skills for more accurate speech production, and strategies for safe eating. Speech therapy treatment plans include:

  • Voice therapy
  • Cognitive memory rehabilitation
  • Dysphagia therapy for swallowing disorders
